Boston Civic Symphony 
— Seasonal Visual Identity & Motion Design
Freelance project, 2025 Season

This freelance project for the Boston Civic Symphony involved creating a cohesive visual identity for the orchestra’s 2025 season.
The design direction conveys a warm transition between night and morning — symbolizing renewal, balance, and harmony.

I designed a series of posters for each concert date, featuring soft gradients and bold typography that express both energy and calmness.
Additionally, I produced motion graphic assets using Adobe After Effects to be used in promotional videos and social media campaigns, ensuring visual consistency across all media.

A warm connection between night and morning.

HAE:DOT is a Korean-style hangover restaurant that blends the comfort of Korean soups with the familiarity of Western breakfasts.
It celebrates the moment of recovery — a place where the night’s chaos turns into the calm of morning.

Smart Door Mat Project
Senior year school project  ( in progress)
This project explored how everyday habits can be guided through gentle interaction.
By combining technology and design, I wanted to turn a common annoyance into a moment of mindfulness at home. 

  1.  Family member places shoes randomly
  2.  RFID detects shoes
  3.  Mat or cabinet plays a gentle voice alert 
  4.  Shoes placed correctly


The result looks simple, but it came after many failures — I even burned three main boards. Through this project, I learned not to rely on ChatGPT but to truly understand the principles myself. It reminded me what serial and parallel connections really mean. The project is still in progress — I’m now designing the 3D-printed casing.

Sudden Dance Film Festival
junior year school project
The Sudden Dance Film Festival celebrates the intersection of movement, rhythm, and cinema. Inspired by the spontaneity of dance and the tactile quality of film, this visual identity captures the tension between tradition and modernity.

The bold split-colored typography reflects the dynamic rhythm of Indian dance, while the grainy film texture evokes the analog warmth of vintage cinema. The vivid palette—golden yellow, deep green, and magenta—symbolizes vitality, emotion, and cultural fusion.

The overlapping silhouettes and distorted motion effects embody the essence of “sudden” movement—energetic, unpredictable, and alive.
Held at AMC Boston Common, the festival invites audiences to experience how rhythm can be seen, heard, and felt through film.

DOFEST is a quarterly magazine that explores how EDM festivals connect with travel, culture, and lifestyle.
The Spring 2025 issue features global destinations such as Ibiza and Belgium — places where music, design, and atmosphere merge into one experience.

Through interviews with artists, visual storytelling, and clean editorial layouts, the magazine captures the rhythm of modern festival culture beyond the stage — in architecture, light, and everyday moments of travel.
